What scrap metal is worth the most?

Copper is the most valuable metal at the scrapyard when it comes to recycling. Copper is mainly located in electrical wires, electromagnetic components, and plumbing. Copper is versatile and has high volume usage therefore it is particularly sought-after among commonly scrapped metals. However, not all copper commands the same price. There are grades of copper that differ in value.

What kind of scrap metal is worth money?

Common metals like copper, aluminium, brass, bronze and stainless steel, are categorized as non-ferrous metals. These metals are valuable for recycling and are worth more money.

    Do you collect scrap metal?

Yes, collection can be arranged, contact us for more information.

Is galvanized steel worth bringing in for scrapping?

Yes, galvanized steel can also be recycled and will fetch a fair payment from our scrapyard.

What happens to the plastic and pvc from wires and cables?

After all the metal from the wires has been stripped the plastic and pvc gets recycled locally. Gumboots and Track padding for races are some on the main uses of the recycled PVC and plastic.
